City of Skate partnered with Juxtaposition Arts on the JXTA Skate-able Art Plaza. A collaboration designed by JXTA students and staff, with assistance by COS. The plaza combines skateboarding, flexible open space, art installations, and sustainable stormwater management, to create a unique public space in the heart of North Minneapolis, along West Broadway Avenue. The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee Legacy Fund, a KickStarter Campaign, along with the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, each contributed $50,000 to Juxtaposition Arts for the building of this first-ever Skate-able Art Plaza in North Minneapolis.

Location: Corner of West Broadway Avenue and Emerson Avenue North, Minneapolis
